Interested in learning more about hyperscale data centers from a third party that will receive no financial benefit from the establishment of a hyperscale data center in Shawnee County?

Protect Kansas is hosting an educational session for our Shawnee County neighbors to learn more and ask questions regarding hyperscale data centers and their likely impacts to our community.

Primary Vote Reminder for Aug. 4:

Make sure to vote before attending at your local polling place. It is important to vote NO to keep our courts impartial. This vote will directly impact data center efforts here. You can also cast your vote early at the Shawnee County Election Office at 3420 SW Van Buren St, Topeka, KS 66611

The Shawnee County Planning and Zoning Department will be discussing the option to change Agricultural zoning to Heavy Industrial on Aug. 10, 2026.

This change is a prerequisite to building a DATA CENTER. Make sure to write a comment about your concerns!
