We don’t have to wonder if what Compass said in their City Council presentation about being such a great community partner is true…60 Minutes went to Red Oak, Texas and found out for us.
Red Oak isn’t just any Compass Datacenters location either - it’s where their US headquarters is located. That’s why it’s kind of amazing that even 60 Minutes couldn’t find any residents to speak positively about the data centers there. In the story, that aired this past Sunday, there were no big success stories, no community windfalls. Only anger, fear, and frustration. Sounds familiar.
